ALL-NEW ARC! Archer and Armstrong and Aliens. Oh my!
Mary-Maria, Archer's arch-nemesis/love interest/adopted sister is back, ready to take over The Sect - by any means necessary. And what better way to seize control of the secret society of secret societies than by unlocking their most secretive of secrets on the secretest place on Earth?
And who but the Valiant Universe's premiere team of conspiracy-busters can possibly stop her?
Just when you thought this book couldn't get any weirder, Archer & Armstrong storm Area 51.
Archer and Armstrong have fast become one of the funniest and most entertaining titles in the comic book world and this 10th issue definitely keeps that momentum up.
There really is a bit of everything for the 'Archer and Armstrong' fans out there.
Mary-Maria returns, Archer and Armstrong storm Area 51, aliens, there's the comedy that the title is famous for and much more besides.
I have to admit that as a new comer to the title itself, I was a little lost to begin with but I caught up pretty damn quickly. That's where the fast pacing came in to play big time. There was little to no time to sit back and catch our breath. Instead, as a reader, you are more than encouraged to hold on tight and watch the action unfold so that is exactly what I did. You know what? I loved every moment of it.
The writing had me in equal parts laughing like crazy and itching to see just what was going to happen next. The one problem I had with the title was the simple fact that as a newcomer, I didn't get the full extent of the reunion between certain characters without looking it up afterwards but despite that, I still really enjoyed the title.
This is definitely a title that I will adding to my collection and following. Well worth picking up.
